Duane comes from a large, musical family in which everyone plays at least one instrument.  He began playing the guitar at age 10. 

He wrote song after song from ideas and experiences  that inspired him.  Taking inventory of his ever growing song collection, he had written 250 songs by the age of 15.  

When he turned 18 he made a decision to write commercial quality original rock music and he went to Nashville where he met with music publishers for critique and guidance. 

In 1985 he had attracted the attention of a major record label in Los Angeles.  People liked his music.   

In 2001 he wrote and recorded 180 new songs, self publishing 12-albums of his music.  

He has performed his music for weddings, dances, clubs 

Romantic Love Songs, Ballads, country rock/pop, blues rock, yaught rock, hard rock,  Christian Rock.

All of his most popular songs were written from inspiration and real life experiences.
